It's tough to find cinnamon ice cream in stores, but thanks to this super-simple recipe, you don't need an ice cream maker to serve this fantastic flavor. Proportions are given for a single serving, but you can easily adjust the spice for larger quantities of ice cream.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 egg yolks
- 90g sugar
- a packet of vanilla sugar
- 25ml of milk
- 20ml liquid cream
- 7g cinnamon
- In a bowl, combine sugars, cinnamon and egg yolks.
- Whisk until the mixture whitens slightly.
- Add milk and cream. Mix.
- Pour into a saucepan and place over low heat to thicken, stirring constantly.
- The mixture should coat the spoon.
- Make cool completely and churn make.
